The non-profit organization ZERI JAPAN is pleased to announce the re-screening of the powerful large-format film "BLUE OCEAN DOME" in Dome B at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) in Tokyo's Koto Ward (2-3-6 Aomi, Koto-ku). The screenings will take place from Saturday, July 18, 2026, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026. This is a valuable opportunity to re-experience the overwhelming visuals, created with the theme of marine plastic pollution, which were highly acclaimed at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. We encourage everyone to visit and enjoy the film.

This full CG work depicts the ocean suffering from plastic pollution alongside the vibrant, interconnected life of Earth. It dynamically moves between scales from the cellular level to the cosmos, weaving together various scenes such as realistic underwater depictions and imaginative worlds. The film appeals to the viewer's senses, highlighting that Earth, a water planet, is facing an existential crisis due to human activities. While originally shown on a high-definition hemispherical LED screen approximately 10 meters in diameter at the Expo, the film has been specially localized for Miraikan's dome theater, which has a diameter of approximately 15 meters. This ensures that the immersive experience of the Expo can be felt just as it was.
