Zweigen Kanazawa has decided to host a commemorative match against Gamba Osaka as part of its 20th-anniversary project, aimed at promoting recovery support for the Noto region and building momentum. From the early days of the J.League through the early 2000s, 'regional matches' where J1 clubs held official games across the country were popular. In this context, a match between Gamba Osaka and Nagoya Grampus Eight was held in Kanazawa in 1996, and on July 12, 2014, Zweigen Kanazawa played its first official match against Gamba Osaka in the second round of the Emperor's Cup. Almost every match Gamba Osaka played in Ishikawa/Kanazawa attracted over 10,000 spectators. Through this history, many Gamba supporters were born in Kanazawa/Ishikawa, and the club helped build the foundation for soccer culture in the region. Gamba Osaka is a club that has built deep ties with the region over many years. This match symbolizes gratitude for that history and the new steps of Zweigen Kanazawa as it marks its 20th anniversary. We hope many of you will attend this symbolic event to support the future of Noto, cheering for the players and sharing our thoughts for the region. [Event Overview] 1.
