Asahi Seika Co., Ltd., which operates 47 confectionery stores in Yamaguchi Prefecture, recently completed a unique 10-day training program for its 9 new employees who joined in April 2026. The customized curriculum, designed by senior staff, covered business etiquette, food safety, and intensive customer service role-playing. The final test required passing a strict evaluation by the company president acting as a customer. The training also included relaxing activities like picnics. The new hires have now been assigned to their respective stores and successfully navigated their first busy seasons, including Mother's Day.
