While we have primarily offered "Nama Warabi Mochi" and "Nomu Warabi Mochi" until now, we have introduced soft serve ice cream as a new option to provide a wider variety of Japanese sweets for tourists visiting Kyoto and customers who enjoy eating on the go.
The soft serve ice cream can be enjoyed on its own, or we suggest purchasing it with nama warabi mochi for a combination that allows you to better enjoy the unique appeal of each by comparing them or savoring them alternately.
A New Way to Enjoy Warabi Mochi, Only Possible at a Specialty Warabi Mochi Shop
Warabi mochi is characterized by its chewy texture and refined sweetness.
On the other hand, soft serve ice cream boasts a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich milk flavor.
While sold as separate items, we also recommend them as a "Japanese sweet tasting" experience where you can enjoy different textures and flavors, such as:

About Torori Tenshi no Warabi Mochi
"Warabi Mochi" and "Nomu Warabi Mochi" with a "Meltingly Soft" Texture, Originating in Osaka
Nama Warabi Mochi (Wasanbon Kinako)
"Torori Tenshi no Warabi Mochi," a Japanese confectionery shop known for its "meltingly soft" "Nama Warabi Mochi," opened its first store in August 2020 in Nakazaki-cho, Osaka (now relocated to Tenjinbashi).
"Nama Warabi Mochi Wasanbon Kinako," so soft that a toothpick cannot pierce it, is meant to be eaten with chopsticks.
This warabi mochi with its rare "meltingly soft" texture is perfect as a gift.
Nomu Warabi Mochi (from left: Kuromitsu/Matcha/Milk Tea)
"Nomu Warabi Mochi," a drinkable sweet, was born from the idea of a high school part-timer who said, "It's so soft, you could probably drink it with a straw."
With warabi mochi at the bottom of the cup, topped with fresh cream, its "Instagrammable" appearance and new texture became a hot topic, making it a popular menu item that sells up to 500 cups a day.
Flavors available are "Milk Tea," "Kuromitsu," and "Matcha."
Cream Warabi Mochi (Matcha/Plain/Hojicha/Black Sesame)
In addition, we offer "Cream Warabi Mochi" in four varieties: "Plain," "Hojicha," "Black Sesame," and "Matcha," which consists of warabi mochi in a cup topped with fresh cream and kinako powder to taste.
