Kyrgyz local travel agency Ashu Travel, supported by Japan's Minna no Goudou Kaisha, fully coordinated the Kyrgyzstan shoot for Yomiuri TV's (ytv) program 'Shingo no Me,' airing June 6 and 13, 2026. The show is hosted by Shingo Katori with June monthly MC Bakarhythm. Under the theme 'Find someone who looks like Bakarhythm in Central Asia's Kyrgyzstan,' the crew investigated the folk legend that Japanese and Kyrgyz people were once brothers. Ashu Travel, led by multi-lingual representative Nuriya Dushalieva, managed comprehensive coordination, including filming permits from government agencies, location scouting, and Japanese-Kyrgyz-Russian translation. Filming locations featured the capital Bishkek, local bazaars, a stand-up comedy venue, Chon-Kemin Valley with a Kok-boru match, and a Sunday livestock market. The agency provided full-service support covering transport, lodging, and meals to ensure a smooth production. This marks Ashu Travel's second TV coordination project in 2026, showcasing their expertise in connecting Japanese production teams with Kyrgyzstan and Central Asian destinations like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
