【Fukui Prefecture, Echizen Town】Japan's Largest National Drone License School 'Drone Campus' to Launch Special Drone Booth at Summer Fireworks Festival!

Mugen no Sora Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture; President and CEO: Akihiro Hisamori), which operates 'Drone Campus'—an MLIT-approved, nationwide drone school with 18 locations—will launch a special drone experience booth at the fireworks festival held in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture, on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

At this event, we have prepared experiential content that is easy and enjoyable for everyone, from children to adults, even those with no prior experience. This includes 'Drone Strackout (free experience)', where participants fly drones like balls to hit targets, and 'Drone UFO Catcher (500 JPY per play)', where participants operate drones to grab snacks. We aim to provide opportunities to experience cutting-edge technology and work toward realizing a drone-integrated society rooted in local communities, co-created with municipalities and residents.

Making Drones Accessible: Two Fun Experience Programs

For this event, we are offering safe, entertainment-focused drone flying experiences designed for those who have never touched a drone before. Pricing and rules for each attraction are as follows:

1. Drone UFO Catcher

・Price: 500 JPY per play (tax included)

・Description: A game where participants skillfully operate drones to grab snacks, similar to a claw crane machine. Participants can enjoy learning delicate aerial positioning and hovering skills while experiencing the excitement of winning a prize.

2. Drone Strackout

・Price: Free (Open to all)

・Description: A game where the drone itself acts as a ball, flying toward designated targets. While competing for precision in a game-like setting, participants can directly experience the drone’s excellent flight stability and the joy of piloting.

Background and Purpose: Building a 'Co-Creative Community' from the Ground Up

Recently, drones have become increasingly important, being socially implemented in various fields such as aerial photography, infrastructure inspection, and cargo transportation.

As an MLIT-approved national drone license school, our company operates 18 locations nationwide and runs 'Drone Campus Fukui no Sora' in our local area. By launching a booth at Echizen Town’s traditional summer festival, we aim to provide local residents—many of whom have never had the chance to interact with drones—an opportunity to experience and understand drone technology up close.

We aim to go beyond being just a training provider. Through close collaboration with local governments and residents, we seek to expand understanding of drones and co-create solutions to local challenges, building a co-creative society from the ground up.
