About 'Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-'

'Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-' is a music-based character rap project launched in September 2017 by EVIL LINE RECORDS, a label under King Records.

It features 18 main characters divided into six teams: Ikebukuro Division, Yokohama Division, Shibuya Division, Shinjuku Division, Osaka Division, and Nagoya Division, who engage in intense rap battles.

The rap music that drives the battles involves top creators from Japan's hip-hop scene. Voice actors perform the raps, enabling rich character-driven storylines centered around music.

'Hypnosis Mic -Alternative Rap Battle-' is a smartphone game app released in 2020 by Idea Factory Plus, based on the original 'Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-' project.

It features original storylines and a unique rhythm game mode called 'KILLER SCRATCH!! (Killer Scratch)', which includes innovative mechanics such as 'Scratch Notes'.

'Hypnosis Mic -Alternative Rap Battle- 2nd period' Launch Campaign

To celebrate the release of the second Nintendo Switch title, a special campaign is being held within the smartphone app version.

During the campaign, 'for DJ's'—the theme song from the first Nintendo Switch title 'Hypnosis Mic -Alternative Rap Battle- 1st period' released in 2024—will be available for a limited time in the app's 'KILLER SCRATCH!!' mode.

After the campaign ends, 'for DJ's' will no longer be playable in the app, so players are encouraged not to miss this opportunity.

Additionally, two new decorative stickers featuring the key visual design and newly drawn chibi character group art for the Nintendo Switch version will be available. Players can obtain them by logging into the app during the campaign period.

The campaign also includes a bingo mission where clearing all sheets rewards 1,000 gems, a G-Collect event to obtain SSR cards from story events in both '1st period' and '2nd period', and special in-app item sets for purchase.
