1. Single Malt Whisky 'Seiko' to be Released on April 25th
Kirishima Yokogawa Distillery (Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture), managed by graduates of the prestigious Seikogakuin Junior and Senior High School in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, will release 'Seiko,' a single malt whisky celebrating gratitude to their alma mater and its future development, in limited quantities on April 25th.
The character '聖光' (Seiko) engraved on the label of this product was calligraphed by Mr. Seiichi Kudo, Chairman and Principal of the school. The alumni meticulously crafted every step of the manufacturing process, from production to blending ratios, luxuriously harmonizing three types of casks: sherry, Mizunara, and red wine.
Furthermore, 5% of the sales from this project will be donated to Seikogakuin, to be used for educational support to nurture the next generation of 'gentlemen.' This product is scheduled to be exhibited at the 67th Seikofest, held on Saturday, April 25th, and Sunday, April 26th.
A Special Bottle Etched in History
With the wish to 'preserve the history of Seikogakuin for 100 years to come,' and embodying the sentiments from their junior and senior high school days, the alumni's aspiration to contribute to Japan and the world is entrusted in this whisky. The character '聖光' (Seiko) on the label is a calligraphy by Mr. Kudo, Chairman and Principal of Seikogakuin, imbued with respect for their alma mater and prayers for its future.

This product, carefully aged in the lush green town of Yokogawa, Kirishima City, is a blend of three distinct aged raw spirits in exquisite proportions.
Aging Casks: Sherry cask, Mizunara cask, Red wine cask Nose: Raisin and pear aromas from the sherry cask, harmonized with calm aromas of berries and sandalwood. Taste: Built on the sweetness derived from sherry, accented by the fruitiness and tannin-derived richness from the red wine cask, and a gentle spiciness. 2. Recruitment of Cask Owners to Commemorate the Release of 'Seiko' Whisky
To commemorate the release of this product, we are recruiting 'cask owners' who can be involved from the aging process. 5% of the sales from this project will be donated to Seikogakuin.
Target Casks: Bourbon cask, Red wine cask, Sherry cask (fractional ownership available for each) Features: This time, we are accepting three types of casks used in the blend of 'Seiko': 'Bourbon cask,' 'Red wine cask,' and 'Sherry cask.' To make it more accessible, we offer a fractional ownership system where you can purchase from 1/10 shares.
