Anniversaire Inc., a company specializing in anniversary production, regularly conducts surveys on love and marriage under the concept 'Happiness becomes an anniversary when celebrated,' publishing the results via the 'Anniversaire Research Institute.' The 113th report surveyed 1,085 unmarried and married men and women in their 20s and 30s nationwide regarding 'diversifying partnerships.' In today's world, where views on partnerships are changing and fewer people are bound by fixed ideas of 'how things should be,' the survey revealed that 48.0% of respondents—combining those who 'definitely want to choose' (37.0%) and those who 'have already chosen' (11.0%)—accept diverse partnerships outside of legal marriage, such as common-law or same-sex partnerships, as a familiar option. When asked what is important for deepening bonds with a partner, 'deeply discussing future life plans and values' ranked first at 62.3%. This suggests a growing value in building a relationship unique to the couple through repeated dialogue. On the other hand, even for a generation that is not bound by form, there is a strong need to commemorate life's milestones. When asked what they seek from a wedding venue when forming a diverse partnership, 40.5% cited 'professional proposal capabilities,' followed by 'facilities' (36.1%) and 'flexible plans/services' (34.6%). Modern couples prioritize their own choices and deep dialogue rather than conforming to others, seeking free proposals that capture their backgrounds. Proactively choosing and expressing 'the correct answer for the two' may be the new form of happiness. Anniversaire continues to support the 'current' feelings that couples cherish, regardless of traditional forms or fixed answers. From moments in cafes that color daily life to the excitement of 'becoming two' supported by proposal planners, and weddings that share joy with loved ones in any style, we are committed to supporting and producing anniversary styles unique to each couple in this era of diversifying partnerships.
