To date, the group has staged numerous productions, including 'Cavalleria Rusticana', collaborating with various performers and choruses to create compelling theatrical experiences.

For this performance, Mascagni's iconic 'Cavalleria Rusticana' will be presented in Italian with subtitles, in a single-act format. Set in Sicily on Easter Sunday, it portrays an intense human drama of love, jealousy, and betrayal leading to tragedy.
Alongside it, Ravel's 'L'enfant et les sortilèges' will be performed in Japanese with subtitles, also in a single act. This imaginative story follows a mischievous child who, through a series of magical events, learns about empathy and the value of life. The work is celebrated for Ravel's richly colored music and the wide array of charming characters.
The production team includes General Director Mayako Hozumi, Conductor Yosihito Kimura, Stage Director Nobuaki Imai, and Production Director Satoshi Nakahara. Casting will vary slightly between the two days, featuring accomplished soloists alongside children's choirs, opera choruses, and instrumentalists, offering distinct artistic experiences on each day.
Experience the passionate intensity of Italian opera and the dreamlike beauty of French opera in a single evening. This rare opportunity to enjoy two contrasting masterpieces is highly recommended for both opera fans and first-time audiences.
