As generative AI has become pervasive in the daily lives of junior high and high school students, we recognize its convenience while feeling that the role of English-Japanese and Japanese-Japanese dictionaries in daily learning has become even more significant. This booklet features experts and dictionary editors (from Taishukan Shoten, Sanseido, and Obunsha) who share this sentiment, explaining the usefulness of learning dictionaries that deserve attention now, with comparisons to generative AI and internet searches. About the Dictionary App DONGRI

Since its release in 2015, DONGRI has been improved and enhanced with new features based on customer requests and has been adopted by many schools. DONGRI can be used with a consistent UI across app versions for Windows, iPad, Chromebook, and smartphones (iPhone, Android), as well as a web version accessible via browser.
