[Novotel Nara] 2nd Anniversary: Summer Program Supporting Independent Research in Collaboration with Nara University of Education

Novotel Nara (Location: Nara City, Nara Prefecture) is hosting a summer-only family experience program in collaboration with Nara University of Education as the first part of its 2nd-anniversary celebration.

The initiative features three hands-on events: "Insect Observation," "Stargazing," and "Kids Chef Pizza Making." With the cooperation of faculty and students from Nara University of Education, the hotel provides opportunities for children to learn about nature, science, and food education in an enjoyable way.

The content is also suitable for school summer projects and experiential learning, helping families create special summer memories.

Summer Experience Program in Collaboration with Nara University of Education

Insect Observation at Nara University of Education - Date: Sunday, July 26, 2026 - Time: 18:30 departure from hotel, 19:00 start, 20:30 finish - Location: Nara University of Education training garden - Participation fee: Preschoolers free, elementary school students and older 5,000 yen

Stargazing Event at the Rooftop Terrace - Dates: Sunday, August 9, 2026, and Saturday, August 22, 2026 - Time: 19:00–20:00 - Location: Novotel Nara Rooftop Terrace - Participation fee: Preschoolers free, elementary school students and older 3,500 yen

Kids Chef Pizza-Making Experience - Dates: Saturday, July 25; Sunday, August 2; Sunday, August 16; Sunday, August 23, 2026 - Time: 15:00–16:30 - Location: Trattoria Ponte Nara - Participation fee: 5,000 yen per family (includes one pizza), 2,500 yen for each additional pizza
