About the Launch of 'Shikin Kanri PayMaster' – Comprehensive Support from Invoice Management to Payment Settlement
About the Service: 'Shikin Kanri PayMaster'
As the first initiative of this partnership, 'Shikin Kanri PayMaster' will be launched on August 3, 2026, offering payment efficiency and cash flow management services for corporations and individual business owners. The service integrates with The Hokkaido Bank's 'Dogyin Business Portal' and 'Dogyin Business Web Service,' serving as a new digital alternative to paper-based bills and checks ahead of their planned phase-out in 2026, supporting SMEs in their digital transition.
By simply uploading received invoices, AI-powered OCR automatically generates payment data, enabling seamless selection between bank transfers and corporate card payments. Additionally, the service includes document management compliant with the Electronic Record Keeping Law and approval workflows, comprehensively supporting the efficiency of corporate accounting and financial management operations.
Service Overview
Background and Rationale
In SME accounting and payment operations, manual verification of received invoices and individual entry of transfer data into internet banking systems remain common practices. These processes are time-consuming, error-prone, and place a significant burden on staff. Moreover, when accounts are spread across multiple financial institutions, gaining a clear overview of cash flow becomes increasingly difficult.
Recognizing these challenges, both companies have initiated this collaboration. By combining The Hokkaido Bank's customer base and financial expertise with Emerada's payment and cash management technologies, the partnership aims to provide end-to-end support—from invoice receipt and payment processing to cash flow visualization.
Statements from Both Companies
'Through this collaboration, we are pleased to combine the insights accumulated as a regional financial institution with cutting-edge fintech technology to deliver new value to businesses. A payment service starting from invoice and cash management contributes significantly to daily operational efficiency and advanced financial management. We expect it to be widely adopted by SMEs in our region. Going forward, we will further strengthen our partnership with Emerada to create innovative services that contribute to the revitalization of the regional economy.'
(Satoru Sasahara, Director, Direct Marketing Division, Business Strategy Department, The Hokkaido Bank, Ltd.)
'We are delighted to collaborate with The Hokkaido Bank to deliver a new financial experience that directly connects to the daily operations of corporate clients by merging the trust of regional financial institutions with our technology. Starting with corporate payment services, we will continue to work closely with The Hokkaido Bank to create new value not only in payments but also in areas such as business credit assessment and data utilization.'
