Kamei Proact Corp. has announced that its French sneaker brand, PATRICK, will revive the 1985 Michel Platini signature soccer cleats. Limited pre-orders will be accepted on the crowdfunding site CAMPFIRE for 45 days, from June 1 to July 15, 2026. With over 130 years of history, PATRICK originally built its reputation on football footwear. Exactly 20 years after ending soccer cleat production in 2006, the brand is bringing them back as 'Made in Japan' models for the 2026 World Cup year. In addition to the cleats featuring the original logo approved by Platini himself, the collection includes special sets with signed photo cards, collaboration T-shirts, uniforms, and shower sandals.
