Creapia Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sapporo, Hokkaido; Representative Director: Yu Fujii), which aims to roll up FC headquarters, has raised 10 million yen in the first close of its seed round through a third-party allocation of new shares to a domestic venture capital firm. This brings the total amount raised since the pre-seed stage to 16.24 million yen. The company will continue to pursue funding to reach the full amount for this round.

Background of Funding

On November 2025, the "PC School Deedot Station Sapporo Higashi School" was succeeded.

Across Japan, numerous small and medium-sized enterprises are forced to close their businesses due to the aging of their management and the lack of successors. We recognize that inheriting these businesses one store at a time has limitations in both the number of businesses that can be inherited and the speed at which they can be inherited.

In November 2025, we succeeded our first case, the franchise store "PC School Deedot Station Sapporo Higashi School." Since the succession, we have achieved a doubling of sales and cost optimization, demonstrating success as a model case for value creation through business succession M&A.

However, the method of revitalizing franchise stores one by one requires considerable time and is limited in the number of businesses that can be saved. Therefore, we have shifted our strategy to inheriting "franchise headquarters" themselves, rather than individual stores, and have conducted this funding round to achieve this goal.

By inheriting a franchise headquarters, it becomes possible to simultaneously deploy business revitalization know-how to all its affiliated stores, expanding value creation to a scope unattainable through the acquisition of individual stores. We aim to create a ripple effect across all affiliated stores by renovating the headquarters' systems, customer acquisition strategies, and operational structure.

Various franchises exist in Japan, including cram schools, computer schools, restaurants, and chiropractic clinics. We do not limit the industries we target for succession. We have previously raised funds through loans from financial institutions and crowdfunding during the pre-seed stage. Including this first close of the seed round, our cumulative funding amount is 16.24 million yen.
