Congrant Inc., a provider of 'Donation DX Systems' for the social sector and corporations, is supporting Sony Bank's new elementary financial education program, 'GIVING for FUTURE.' The support covers everything from curriculum design and coordination to providing donation payment/management systems and hands-on crowdfunding support, helping children tackle social issues. Starting June 1, 2026, the first project will be launched by 26 sixth-graders at Hirane Elementary School in Saku City, Nagano. Sony Bank has been committed to next-generation financial education, aiming to contribute to 'Financial Education for All' and 'Vibrant Local Communities'—two of the six key sustainability areas identified by Sony Financial Group. A survey conducted by Sony Bank in October 2025 revealed that many families struggle with 'not knowing what to teach' regarding financial education. Against this backdrop, the 'GIVING for FUTURE' program was launched to provide financial education in collaboration with schools. Leveraging its experience in operating 'GIVING for SDGs' since 2023, Congrant will manage the entire process for this new program. 'GIVING for FUTURE' is designed to help children learn about money and crowdfunding in class, and then practice crowdfunding to address local issues. Sony Bank covers all donation payment fees and system costs, while Congrant provides curriculum design and project support. At Hirane Elementary School, students are launching a project to create products and school signs using wood from a fallen 130-year-old cherry tree, aiming to raise 1 million yen. Congrant provides a one-stop solution for donation management, with over 4,000 organizations using its services and total donations exceeding 15 billion yen.
