Announcement of Suntory Sunbirds Cast 2026-27 Audition

Suntory Sunbirds Osaka will hold an audition for Sunbirds Cast (performers) who sympathize with the team's philosophy and will actively participate.

The Sunbirds Cast, launched in the 2025-26 season, became a major factor in attracting the regular season championship (21 wins, 1 loss in 22 home games) by serving as a bridge between the team and fans through various performances at home games. The Sunbirds Cast will provide various information to attending fans, lead cheers, and sometimes energize the venue with their own performances.

2026-27 Sunbirds Cast (Performer) Recruitment Overview ■

<Recruitment Period> ・ June 22, 2026 (Mon) 18:00 〜 July 14, 2026 (Tue) 23:59 <Eligibility> ・ Must be 20 years of age or older as of October 1, 2026. ・ Must be able to actively participate in home games and events during the 2026-27 season. ・ Must be healthy, cheerful, and energetic. ・ Must sympathize with the philosophy of Suntory Sunbirds Osaka. * Dance or performer experience is not required, but those with special skills such as MC, acrobatics, vocals, or cheerleading are welcome.

[Audition Schedule]

● First Screening (Document Screening) July 15, 2026 (Wed) * After selection, we will notify you of the results by email by July 17, 2026 (Fri). * Details for the second screening will be communicated individually to successful candidates. ↓ ● Second Screening (Practical: Written test, required performance, free performance) July 28, 2026 (Tue) or July 29, 2026 (Wed) 18:00〜 (You will participate on one of these days) * This will be held privately. * When applying for the audition, please be sure to select your preferred date for the second screening. * The time will be announced upon passing the first screening, but it will be held between 18:00 and 21:00. * The venue is planned to be the Suntory Mino Training Center. * After selection, we will notify you of the results by email by July 31, 2026 (Fri). * Details for the final screening will be communicated individually to successful candidates. ↓ ● Final Screening (Interview) Will be conducted individually online. ↓ ● Announcement of Successful Candidates

Furthermore, the personal information provided will not be used for any purpose other than audition-related operations. * There is no cost to apply for this audition. However, transportation costs to the audition venue and communication/data charges incurred for the application will be borne by the applicant. * Applicants must understand the above content and activity schedule, and apply for the audition based on their own judgment and responsibility. * Applicants belonging to talent agencies, etc., must clearly state this. * Applicants for the performer (Omotenashi Tai) role can perform freely, but there are no restrictions on the performance such as singing, playing instruments, or dancing, as long as it is within 60 seconds and of a reasonable nature. Please come dressed in attire that allows you to express your best performance. However, due to the ceiling height and floor structure of the venue, there may be restrictions on what can be performed. If using audio sources, you may bring your own music player, but you will be responsible for operating it. * Basically, remuneration will be paid for each game and event appearance.
