Suntory Whisky 'Kakubin' Releases New Father's Day Web Movies

Suntory Holdings announced the release of new web movies, 'Parent-Child Answer Check' and 'Father's Kakugen' (total of 8), for its whisky brand 'Kakubin', ahead of Father's Day on June 21, 2026.

For the 'Parent-Child Answer Check' movie, actor Shota Sometani plays the role of a son who has become a father. It depicts him reflecting on his own father's image while navigating his daily life of work and raising children.

The 'Father's Kakugen' series, consisting of 8 clips, showcases memorable words once spoken by fathers, shared on official social media platforms 'X' and 'TikTok' starting June 1, 2026.

Suntory conducted surveys among 300 men in their 50s-70s who drank 'Kakubin' while raising children, and 300 men and women in their 20s-40s whose fathers drank the whisky, to gather stories about familial memories and their fathers' unique 'Kakugen' (wise sayings).
