Proactiv Launches First Medicated Concealer on June 29

The Proactiv Company KK announced the pre-sale of its first-ever makeup product, 'Proactiv Acne Care Concealer' (in two shades), starting June 29 through e-commerce websites. This medicated item combines acne care with skin coverage, coming from a brand that has held the top sales position in medicated acne skincare in Japan for 22 consecutive years.

The concealer contains Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate for acne and skin irritation prevention, as well as Tranexamic Acid, an active whitening ingredient. It uses a matte texture to prevent the concealer from highlighting acne due to light reflection and features a 'thin-film fit' formulation for strong adhesion. It also includes skin-moisturizing ingredients like CICA and Panthenol. The product is priced at 1,496 yen (including tax), with nationwide sales beginning September 1.
