Seeds and Growth Co., Ltd. conducted a survey on selection withdrawal and job offer acceptance among 111 corporate employees who graduated in 2026. The survey revealed that 94.6% of students entry into companies but skip subsequent information sessions. The main reason, cited by 57.1%, was low interest at the time of entry. For those who attended briefings or internships but did not proceed to the selection phase, the top reasons were 'job description differed from expectations' (51.4%) and 'salary or working conditions became unattractive' (38.7%). When choosing the company they ultimately joined, 'alignment of job content with personal goals' was the top factor (31.5%), followed by 'satisfactory salary/benefits' (20.7%). The results show a gap between the entry phase and final selection stages. Companies are urged to set competitive employment terms to remain viable while providing clear, engaging job descriptions that exceed student expectations to prevent candidate loss.
