Sporta Inc. (New York/Tokyo) has secured exclusive Japan sales rights for the NOAH Basketball shoot tracking system, used by 28 NBA teams, hundreds of NCAA programs, and elite academies across the US. NOAH uses machine learning, computer vision, and real-time analysis to measure shot arc (entry angle), depth, and left-right deviation instantly. After analyzing over 900 million shots across all skill levels, NOAH established the formula for a 'perfect shot': straight trajectory, 45-degree entry angle, depth of approximately 28 cm (about 5 cm past the center of the rim). Real-time audio feedback helps players build muscle memory and improve shooting consistency. Notable results: Stephen Curry maintains a precision standard of within plus or minus 3 inches (approx. 7.6 cm) on all 3-point attempts; Reed Sheppard improved his 3-point percentage from 32% to 52% at the University of Kentucky, ranked 1st nationally, and was selected 3rd overall in the 2024 NBA Draft. Multiple B.League and W.League teams in Japan have already confirmed adoption, with further expansion planned. Sporta CEO Yusuke Ietoku and NOAH Basketball CEO John Carter both expressed enthusiasm for bringing world-class shooting culture to Japan.
