3M Japan Limited (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Naruke) has launched the new 'Post-it® Note/Flag SUISAI Fusen Collection' under the Post-it® brand, based on the concept of 'the joy of delivering feelings' (shipping starts May 11). While digitalization is rapidly advancing in offices and education, the value of handwritten communication is being re-evaluated. A 2024 survey by 3M in the U.S. found that a majority of digital tool users feel that handwriting has advantages such as 'making information easier to remember' and 'feeling more personal.' In 2026, the Post-it® brand proposes using Post-it® notes to convey thoughts by hand under the global theme 'Words Matter,' believing that using sticky notes enables communication with unique 'individuality' and 'warmth.' In Japan, under the keyword 'Let's keep important words firmly,' the company is promoting the product through retail displays, advertising, and social media. The 'SUISAI Fusen Collection' was developed with the theme 'Words are gifts,' aiming to make handwritten communication more accessible, especially to the younger generation. With designs inspired by gentle speech bubbles and delicate watercolor-like colors, it wraps messages and feelings softly, making communication with family, friends, and colleagues smoother and warmer. Through this product, we propose the importance of conveying thoughts by hand in an era where digital communication is mainstream. The Post-it® brand will also make its first appearance at 'Bungu Joshi Hakurankai Tokyo 2026.' At the booth, the company will sell the new collection, 'Post-it® Super Sticky Notes/Flags,' and new colors not yet released in Japan.
