Announcement Regarding Change of Our Trade Name

Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") announces that at a Board of Directors meeting held today, it was resolved to change its trade name as follows, subject to approval at the 44th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders.

1. New Trade Name (English Notation) DIS CO., LTD. (DIS CO., LTD.)

2. Scheduled Date of Change April 1, 2027

Aspirations Behind the New Trade Name With this change of trade name, the Company will formally adopt "DIS," which has been familiar to stakeholders as an abbreviation for many years, as its official trade name. The new trade name "DIS CO., LTD." is not merely an abbreviation for "Daiwabo Information System" as it has been until now, but rather encapsulates the values we cherish and our future determination in the following three words: Delightful Ideas & Solutions We entrust this new trade name with a strong desire to maximize the potential of IT, enrich and energize local communities in all 47 prefectures of Japan, and contribute to their revitalization. Based on our unique strength of "community-based approach" cultivated through our IT-related product wholesale business, and a "system" that enables flexible and speedy customer response, we aim to become a presence that not only provides products and services but also works with customers to address regional challenges, producing their resolution and the co-creation of new value. Especially now, with the rapid evolution of AI and digital technologies, we want to create excitement, smiles, and joy together with our customers and local communities through the wonder and enjoyment that IT brings. With the new trade name "DIS," which condenses these aspirations, as our banner, each and every employee will embody these aspirations and contribute to the growth of our entire group and the enhancement of corporate value.

4. Background of the Trade Name Change Daiwabo Holdings, our parent company, has continuously promoted business structure reforms since transitioning to a holding company system in 2009. Subsequently, in 2024, as part of optimizing its business portfolio, it executed the independence of Daiwabo Corporation, which was responsible for the textile business, from the group. Taking this opportunity, in order to achieve new leaps for the group and reconstruct its corporate brand, the decision was made to change the trade name while re-clarifying the group's raison d'être and desired vision. Our company will also implement the trade name change based on Daiwabo Holdings' policy.
