[One-Night Only] Koto and Shakuhachi Concert 'Ritual Hub'
Shakuhachi Performer: Ranmei Fujioaka (Fujioaka Ranmei) Koto Performer: Koki Kikureihō (Kikureihō Koki)
This concert is part of 'Ritual Hub,' DoubleTree by Hilton’s experiential program aimed at offering travelers authentic cultural encounters and memorable experiences during their stay.
The performance will be divided into two parts—first and second halves—with explanations from the performers about the instruments and musical backgrounds in between. After the concert, guests can try playing the koto and shakuhachi and take commemorative photos with the performers. This is a rare opportunity to not only listen to traditional Japanese music but also learn about and interact with it.

Performer Profiles
Ranmei Fujioaka (Fujioaka Ranmei)
Began shakuhachi at age 10. Based in Osaka, she has performed as an accompanist and supporting artist in various competitions and concerts. She passed the (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation) Japanese Minyo Association Shakuhachi Instructor Examination as the youngest in the Kansai region. Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Japanese Music, Shakuhachi (Kinko-ryu). She is actively involved in training successors to preserve the unique sound of the Kinko-ryu Bamboo Society for future generations.
Koki Kikureihō (Kikureihō Koki)
Based in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, he performs and teaches koto and shamisen.
He specializes in 'Jiuta' and 'Sōkyoku,' traditional music forms passed down since the Edo period, and hosts concerts several times a year. He also teaches at elementary, middle, high schools, and universities, contributing to the promotion of traditional Japanese performing arts.
