DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle Launches 'Sengoku Three Great Warlords' Shaved Ice Series Including 'Pine Ame' Collaboration from July 1st

DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle (Chuo-ku, Osaka; General Manager: Hiroyuki Maekawa) will offer three types of 'Sengoku Three Great Warlords' shaved ice at the 6th-floor 'Lounge & Bar SEN' from July 1 (Wed) to September 30 (Wed). Building on last year's popular fruit-based shaved ice themed after three Sengoku warlords, this year features a collaboration with Pine Co., Ltd. as part of a local partnership. The featured 'Pine Ame Collaboration HIDEYOSHI' is named after Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who has ties to Osaka Castle, and is a glamorous dish featuring the sweet and sour taste of Pine Ame and sparkling gold leaf. The dish uses a whole hollowed-out pineapple, fresh pulp, compote sauce, pineapple macarons, and a 'sliced Pine Ame'—a version of the candy stretched to four times its size. Additionally, the hotel will offer 'Whole Melon IEYASU' inspired by Tokugawa Ieyasu and 'Mixed Juice NOBUNAGA' inspired by Oda Nobunaga. On August 8, 'Pine Ame Day,' all guests visiting the restaurant and lounge will receive a complimentary Pine Ame candy.
