Choshi Beer Launches Crowdfunding for New Station-Front Hub in Choshi

Choshi Cheers Inc. (Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture; Representative Director: Kie Sakuma) has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Saturday, May 23, 2026, to establish a new hub for Choshi Beer near Choshi Station. The fundraising period will run until Friday, June 26, 2026, with a target of 7 million JPY.

Choshi Beer has long been committed to community-rooted initiatives, aiming to create craft beers that pair perfectly with local Choshi seafood and embody the local spirit. This new challenge in the station-front area is their latest step in this journey.

This project was born out of a desire to create a place at Choshi's gateway where travelers can immediately encounter the city's charm, locals can drop by after work or during daily routines, and where the city's food, people, and urban appeal can connect.

In recent years, the atmosphere around Choshi Station has been shifting. While Choshi boasts abundant attractions like the sea, lighthouses, ports, and a rich food culture, the company wants to increase the number of welcoming hubs and lights that entice people to stop by. This project aims to turn that vision into reality.

The new facility is planned as a central hub near the station. Further details, including concept imagery and progress updates, will be released sequentially.

Crowdfunding rewards include thank-you emails, name placement on in-store boards, exclusive stickers, limited-edition beers, dining tickets, brewery tours, invitations to the grand opening party, ambassador courses, naming rights for in-store equipment, and various supporter levels. Funds will be used for opening preparations, interior and exterior construction, equipment, and initial operating costs.
