Techno Bridge NKE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masahiko Kato), which provides a wide range of engineering services in the civil engineering and construction fields, held a two-day job interview event for Japanese companies at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in Vietnam on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Two companies from Japan, Ichikawa Komuten Co., Ltd. and Ida Technos Co., Ltd., participated in this interview event. Sixteen Vietnamese students aiming to work in Japan took part in the interviews. As a result of this event, four students received job offers.

Background

The labor shortage in Japan is becoming severe, and securing personnel with specialized skills is a challenge for many companies, especially in the construction industry. While interest in highly skilled foreign human resources is growing, many companies hesitate to hire due to issues such as not knowing how to proceed with overseas recruitment or having concerns about language and cultural differences.

Our company operates a human resource development and introduction business in collaboration with Vietnamese universities. We cultivate human resources who can succeed in Japanese companies through Japanese language education, understanding of Japanese culture, and business etiquette training. At the same time, we connect highly motivated students with companies through regular local interview events, providing comprehensive support from education to employment.

By creating opportunities for direct dialogue locally, we aim to deepen understanding of candidates' personalities and corporate culture, achieving more accurate matching. This was the reason for holding the interview event in Vietnam again.

Event Day Details

On the day, 16 students from Vietnamese science and engineering universities, including Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, University of Transport and Communications, and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, participated. On the first day, a company information session and group interviews were held, followed by individual interviews on the second day.

During the company information session, the participating companies explained their business details, job descriptions, and the ideal candidate profile, with students listening attentively. During the interviews, active questions were exchanged regarding job content, work environment, and future career paths, demonstrating a strong desire to work in Japan.

Company representatives who have hired through this program have praised the students' specialized skills, Japanese communication abilities, and high level of work awareness.

Future Developments

Going forward, our company will continue to leverage partnerships with Vietnamese universities to promote the introduction of highly skilled human resources that meet the hiring needs of Japanese companies.

Through the regular holding of local interview events, we will create opportunities for direct dialogue between companies and students, supporting more accurate matching and smooth recruitment activities.

Through our human resource development and introduction business, we will support talent acquisition across a wide range of industries, including construction, and contribute to the development of both countries as a bridge connecting Japanese companies with highly skilled Vietnamese human resources.

Human Resource Development and Introduction Business Overview

Since 2015, Techno Bridge NKE has partnered with Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in Vietnam to develop and introduce foreign engineers. We provide integrated services from local human resource development in Vietnam to matching with companies and recruitment support, having helped 330 highly specialized professionals find employment in Japan as of June 1, 2026.

Furthermore, the number of companies that continuously use our services is increasing, as they highly evaluate our recruitment track record and matching accuracy.

Currently, in addition to this university, we have formed broad partnerships with other highly regarded science and engineering universities in Vietnam, strengthening our introduction system for more diverse and highly skilled technical personnel, not limited to the construction field. We are promoting initiatives that contribute to solving Japan's labor shortage while expanding career options for Vietnamese students.
