Starting May 21, "INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO" is exhibiting the "Lexus LFA Concept," a flagship sports car concept model born from the "challenge to the limits."
The Lexus LFA Concept is a battery EV (BEV) sports car concept model under development alongside the GR GT and GR GT3, led by Master Driver Morizo, Chairman Akio Toyoda. It embodies the "Toyota Shikinen Sengu"—the passing of technologies and skills from one generation of car makers to the next—inheriting and evolving from the TOYOTA 2000GT and LFA. The company aims to realize a BEV sports car that exceeds customer expectations while pursuing a balance between performance and design.
This exhibition marks the second public viewing, following the Japan Mobility Show held from October 30 to November 9, 2025. Rare design sketches drawn during the initial development phase are also on display.
The Lexus LFA Concept pursues the ideal form of a sports car that inherits the sensual beauty of the original LFA while retaining values that will not fade in the next generation. The exterior features a low, elongated silhouette based on the GR GT’s all-aluminum frame, inheriting the beauty of the LFA while depicting the proportions of an orthodox coupe. The interior offers the same ideal driving position as the GR GT, delivering unprecedented driving pleasure through a cockpit that enhances unity with the car and creates a sense of immersion.
