Kao to Hold Experiential Event for '8x4' and 'Nivea UV' in 5 Major Japanese Cities

As the hot and highly UV-intensive summer approaches, '8x4', '8x4 MEN', and 'Nivea UV' will hold a new sensory experiential event titled 'Let's Get Through the Hot Summer with a Spritz! Shukatsu'.

In conjunction with this, an official page was launched on May 15.

Feeling uncomfortable with sweat or distracted by strong sunlight—the event aims to transform these minor summer stresses into something lighter and more positive. 'Shukatsu!' is a summer self-care experience inspired by the 'spritz' sound of a spray.

The event will be held for a limited time in five cities nationwide: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sendai. Admission is free, and no prior reservation is required.

What is 'Shukatsu!'? It is a summer care habit that makes sweat, odor, and UV protection fun, using the 'spritz' sound as a hook. It proposes a way to spend the summer by easily caring for common concerns with sprays and mists.

At the venue, visitors can try out '8x4 Powder Spray', '8x4 MEN Deodorant Spray', and 'Nivea UV Deep Protect & Care Milk Mist', experiencing their comfort and usability while learning tips for a pleasant summer through interactive content.

The event features various interactive activities:

1. Interactive Video Production Visitors can capture the moment they use the 8x4 spray in a video, downloading it to their smartphones.

2. UV Camera Check Experience A special camera visualizes normally invisible UV protection, allowing visitors to check for uneven application of sunscreen.

3. No-Lose Lottery After participating, visitors can join a lottery to win assortments of 8x4 and Nivea UV products.

4. Touch & Try A corner where visitors can freely try out the product lineup.

5. Photo Spot A photogenic spot featuring the event's key visual for mirror selfies.
