This release, the first in a series, introduces three companies: BAF, BIDV, and Digiworld. The next release (Part 2) will introduce Mobile World, Nam Long, and Sunshine Group. We will continue to introduce scheduled presenting companies sequentially thereafter.
In September 2026, the Vietnamese stock market is scheduled for a reclassification, with an upgrade to emerging market status. Vietnam is poised to enter a new phase of growth, aiming for the government's target of "10% GDP growth rate." ▼ BAF Vietnam Agriculture Joint Stock Company (HOSE: BAF)
Established in 2017, BAF is a leading pig farming company in Vietnam. With its core "3F Model" encompassing "Feed, Farm, and Food," the company manages everything from feed production to the processing and distribution of pork products. Its business is founded on delivering "green, clean, and safe" products directly to consumers. According to the company, it ranks among the top in the country for the number of breeding sows. As of the end of 2025, BAF operates 40 farms, raises approximately 900,000 pigs, has 73,000 breeding sows, and operates three feed mills with an annual production capacity of 750,000 tons. Through a strategic partnership with Muyuan Group, the world's largest pig farming group, BAF has introduced a multi-story pig farming model and aims to supply 10 million commercial pigs by 2030.
▼ BIDV (Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam)
BIDV is one of Vietnam's leading commercial banks. According to its announcements, as of the end of 2025, its total assets exceeded 125.5 billion USD, capturing approximately 12.5% of the domestic credit market share. Its non-performing loan (NPL) ratio remains low at just 1.2%, with pre-tax profit exceeding 1.41 billion USD. The bank provides "one-stop" banking services to over 450,000 corporate clients (including over 8,100 foreign direct investment enterprises) and more than 20 million individual customers. As the sole settlement bank (since 2000) and custodian bank (since 2003) in Vietnam's spot market, BIDV plays a crucial role in the capital market infrastructure. The company reports that its custody assets amount to 33 billion USD, serving 57% of domestic investment funds. Under its "Green Bank" strategy looking towards 2030, BIDV is also promoting ESG management.
▼ Digiworld (HOSE: DGW)
Founded in 1997, Digiworld is a company specializing in Market Expansion Services (MES) in Vietnam. Through an integrated platform covering market analysis, full distribution, sales & marketing, digital solutions, and after-sales services, it supports overseas brands in entering and expanding their presence in the Vietnamese market. The company states that it currently partners with over 45 global brands and operates a sales network of over 20,000 points of sale nationwide. From 2015 to 2025, it has achieved a revenue CAGR of 20%, profit CAGR of 18%, and an average ROE of 21%. Digiworld has also received continuous external recognition, including Forbes Vietnam's "Top 50 Best Listed Companies" (2022-2025).
