Halekulani Okinawa Celebrates its 7th Anniversary

Halekulani Okinawa (Located at 1967-1 Nakama, Onna-son, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa; General Manager: Kenji Fukunaga) is set to celebrate its 7th anniversary on Sunday, July 26, 2026, marking its eighth summer since opening.

Born on July 26, 2019, as the second property of the century-old Hawaiian luxury hotel 'Halekulani', Halekulani Okinawa is located within the lush nature of the Okinawa Kaigan Quasi-National Park, consistently captivating domestic and international guests.

A Gastronomic Feast: A Collaboration by Two Virtuosos

To celebrate its 7th anniversary, the hotel will host a one-night-only collaboration dinner featuring Ken Sakamoto, consulting chef of the innovative restaurant 'SHIROUX' and chef of 'cenci', alongside Yusaku Nakamura, chef of the Michelin-starred Kyoto Spanish restaurant 'KOKE'.

Chef Ken Sakamoto brings the refined culinary sensibilities of Kyoto to elevate Okinawan ingredients using Italian techniques. Meanwhile, Okinawa-native Chef Yusaku Nakamura, known for his 'fire and water' theme and wood-fired cooking, fuses traditional Okinawan 'life-utilization' culture with Kyoto ingredients.

Exclusive Debut of Halekulani Okinawa's Bespoke Cuvée

On this special evening, the 'Telmont Réserve Brut “Halekulani Okinawa Heavenly Selection”'—a bespoke cuvée crafted exclusively by Maison Telmont for Halekulani Okinawa—will be debuted, adding brilliance to this one-of-a-kind evening.
