Four Seasons Hotel Osaka (Location: 2-4-32 Dojima, Kita-ku, Osaka; General Manager: Gianni Costa) will introduce new services for guests staying on the 28th-floor special concept floor, 'GENSUI,' starting Monday, June 1, 2026. GENSUI, a reinterpretation of the 'modern ryokan,' offers exclusive access to the 'SABO' lounge, where guests can now enjoy Japanese afternoon tea sets and sunset aperitifs. Combined with cultural activities and traditional Japanese breakfasts, the stay evolves into a richer experience rooted in Japanese aesthetics. General Manager Gianni Costa stated that these new services deepen the world view of GENSUI, providing a warmer, more enriching guest experience through the brand's signature hospitality. Located on the 28th floor, GENSUI consists of 21 rooms, including tatami-floored spaces and the private lounge SABO, offering a tranquil atmosphere with views of the Osaka cityscape. The name 'GENSUI' combines 'Gen' (the colors hidden within black) and 'Sui' (the water of Osaka, the City of Water), with design elements inspired by ink wash paintings and calligraphy. Amenities such as indoor zori sandals, yukata, and domestic bath salts are also provided. Starting June 1, 2026, the lounge will offer seasonal Japanese afternoon tea (14:30–16:30) and sunset aperitifs featuring Japanese sake and craft spirits (17:30–19:30). Daily cultural activities such as origami, calligraphy, and matcha tea ceremonies will also be available. Four Seasons Hotel Osaka opened on August 1, 2024, as the fourth Four Seasons property in Japan, serving as an icon of urban luxury.
