Blackstone announced the completion of its capital raise for Blackstone Capital Partners Asia III (BCP Asia III) at $13.1 billion. Surpassing the $10 billion target, BCP Asia III is Blackstone's largest private equity fund in the Asia-Pacific region. The fund reached its hard cap, more than doubling the size of its predecessors due to strong performance in previous funds. Over the past 24 months, Blackstone has actively invested over $7 billion across 12 deals in the region, focusing on India and Japan. Notable investments include Neysa, a rapidly growing AI cloud platform in India; TechnoPro, Japan's largest technology staffing company; and Juno, a leading hair salon chain in South Korea. Additionally, Blackstone completed 15 exits and realizations in the same period, including the listing of IGI, the world's largest independent diamond certification lab; the listing of Aadhar Housing Finance, India's largest affordable housing finance company; and the transfer of Alinamin Pharmaceutical.
