[Brunello Cucinelli] Hosting “INCONTRO CON L’ARTISTA – ‘Sea of Time - TOHOKU’ Project by Contemporary Artist Tatsuo Miyajima” at Omotesando Art Space

This year, marking 15 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake, we are pleased to present "Sea of Time - TOHOKU," an art project by contemporary artist Tatsuo Miyajima, at CASA CUCINELLI TOKYO. The project is intended as a place for mourning the victims, preserving the memory of the disaster, and reflecting on the future, with plans for a museum to be built in Tomioka, Fukushima Prefecture. As a bridge between Japanese and Italian culture, CASA CUCINELLI TOKYO, located in the Brunello Cucinelli Omotesando store, has been developing an art project titled "INCONTRO CON L’ARTISTA" (Meeting with the Artist) since 2021. Furthermore, Brunello Cucinelli Japan has been supporting Tohoku reconstruction efforts since 2016, when founder Brunello Cucinelli visited Sendai to give a keynote speech at a Tohoku reconstruction symposium. We hope that the introduction of the "Sea of Time - TOHOKU" project, which has been in development for over 10 years, will further contribute to the preservation of the memories of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
