【Regarding transactions with contract breeders】

P’s-first directly managed stores do not go through third parties such as auctions, but directly trade pets from reliable contract breeders nationwide. The number of pets handled by the Pets First Group from February 1 to February 28, 2026, i.e., the number of pets taken over from contract breeders, was 1,578, of which 75.3% were dogs and 24.7% were cats. In February, transactions were made with 249 contract breeders for the pets taken over.

In addition, as a measure to protect the mental and physical health of pets and to address the issue of age misrepresentation in the pet industry, P's-first announced in its April 2024 newsletter that it would gradually raise the transaction age of pets handled at its directly managed stores from the legally mandated 57 days old or older to 60 days old or older. *1

In February, the proportion of pets aged 60 days or older was 100%, meaning all pets traded with contract breeders were 60 days or older.

【Regarding pet sales at stores】

In February, the number of pets sold at P's-first directly managed stores was 1,688, with 76.9% being dogs and 23.1% cats. The average age at the time of sale was 103 days old, and the average period from being in the store until being welcomed by a customer was 41 days.

Furthermore, to prevent impulsive pet purchases and promote responsible lifelong pet ownership, in addition to thoroughly explaining things to customers in daily interactions, all customers who welcome a pet at P's-first directly managed stores are asked to attend a "Pre-Pet Welcome Seminar." *2 In February, 1...
