Pets First Group Monthly Pet Report for February 2026

Pets First Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Haruhiko Sakamoto), operating under the philosophy “Pets always come first,” hereby reports on key indicators in the distribution process for its directly managed “P’s-first” pet shops for the month of February 2026.

**■ Results of Key Figures in the Distribution Process for February 2026**

**[Regarding Transactions with Contract Breeders]**

At P’s-first directly managed stores, we source pets directly from trusted contract breeders nationwide, without going through third parties such as auctions. From February 1 to February 28, 2026, the Pets First Group handled 1,578 pets received from contract breeders, of which 75.3% were dogs and 24.7% were cats. During February, we worked with 249 contract breeders.

Furthermore, to protect the mental and physical health of pets and as a measure against the problem of age falsification in the pet industry, we announced in our April 2024 newsletter that we would incrementally raise the transaction age for pets at P’s-first directly managed stores from the legally stipulated 57 days or older to 60 days or older. *1

In February, the proportion of pets aged 60 days or older was 100%, meaning all pets transacted with our contract breeders were 60 days of age or older.

**[Regarding Pet Sales at Shops]**

In February, sales at P’s-first directly managed stores totaled 1,688 pets, with the breakdown being 76.9% dogs and 23.1% cats. The average age at the time of sale was 103 days, and the average time from arrival at the store until being welcomed by a customer was 41 days.

Additionally, to prevent impulse buying and promote responsible lifelong ownership, in addition to our thorough explanations during daily customer interactions, we require all customers adopting a pet from a P’s-first directly managed store to attend a “Pre-Adoption Seminar.” *2 In February, 1,...
