The "Clapton Festival," which will feature theatrical screenings of three live & documentary films by guitarist Eric Clapton—"Live from Madison Square Garden 2008," "Sessions for Robert Johnson 2004," and "Live at Staples Center 2001"—will be held over three weeks starting Friday, August 14. Details for each work and the festival poster have now been unveiled.

Opening on August 14 (Fri) is "Live from Madison Square Garden 2008." This film records the collaboration between Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood—known for his time with the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, and Blind Faith—at Madison Square Garden in New York from February 25–28, 2008.

Following that, "Sessions for Robert Johnson 2004" will be screened starting August 21. This documentary captures the recording and rehearsal sessions for Clapton's cover album of Robert Johnson, a blues musician he deeply admires, across four stages.

Finally, "Live at Staples Center 2001" will be released on August 28. It is a concert film recording the overwhelming stage performance in Los Angeles, Staples Center, on August 18, during his 2001 world tour. For further details, visit the official website.
