Mandarin Oriental, which develops luxury hotels, resorts, and residences worldwide, will open its new property, 'Mandarin Oriental Makati Manila,' in late 2026. The group operated a high-end hotel in the city from 1976 to 2014, and this opening marks its return to the Manila market.
The hotel will be located adjacent to the Ayala Triangle Gardens in the Makati district, approximately a 15-minute drive from Manila International Airport. The property will feature 275 guest rooms and suites, a spa and wellness floor, five restaurants and bars, and event spaces. Inspired by the natural landscapes of the Philippines, guest rooms will start at 50 square meters. Club rooms and suites will offer access to a dedicated lounge and 24-hour butler service.
The 800-square-meter spa will provide signature treatments that reinterpret ancient Filipino healing techniques, such as 'Hilot,' for the modern era. Additionally, the hotel will include a Grand Hall capable of accommodating up to 1,000 guests, supporting international business, social, and cultural events.
