Mechatrax has launched '4GPi ver.2' on May 19, 2026, as a renewed product for the Raspberry Pi 4G (LTE) communication module '4GPi'.

Overview of 4GPi ver.2 4GPi ver.2 is a renewed version of the '4GPi' communication module. The power circuit has been revamped for operation with Raspberry Pi 5, supporting continuous 5V/5A power supply. Additionally, the input voltage range has been expanded to 6V-48V, allowing direct power supply from 48V equipment such as in data centers.

It retains the ease of use that allowed stable internet connection via mobile networks in the original 4GPi, while being renewed as a more business-friendly module capable of adapting to a wider range of power environments.
