Call for Applications: 2026 'FIRST PITCH' Student Research and Development Grant

Mechatrax Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka; President: Soichi Nagasato) has begun accepting applications for the 2026 'FIRST PITCH' program, which supports expenses for students' independent manufacturing and research. This is the 6th year of the program since 2021. 'FIRST PITCH' is designed to support student-led projects with simplified application processes and high flexibility in fund usage; success or failure of the project is not a condition for support. The grant is 300,000 yen per selected project (non-repayable), with up to 4 projects to be selected. The application deadline is Friday, June 26, 2026. Through this program, Mechatrax aims to support students' independent activities and contribute to the advancement of the information and communications field.
