Monaco Government Tourist Office Announces MOU with Japan Marina Beach Association to Promote Next-Gen Marine Tourism

The Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Office announced that on April 15, 2026, the Japan Marina Beach Association (JMBA) officially signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and partnership agreements with the Yacht Club de Monaco (YCM) and the Superyacht Eco Association in Monaco. Following this, the office will further promote Monaco's sustainable maritime culture and next-generation marine tourism to the Japanese market. Monaco, located on the Mediterranean, is renowned for its world-class marinas and deep-rooted maritime culture. The annual 'Monaco Yacht Show' in September is a globally recognized event showcasing the world's finest superyachts. With this MOU, the Monaco Government Tourist Office aims to deepen ties with the Japanese yachting community and actively promote Monaco's rich marina culture and beautiful port city charm. As the Japanese marina industry enters a new phase, JMBA sought this international collaboration to gain insights into Monaco's advanced marina management. Monaco is a leader in sustainable marine tourism, balancing maritime heritage with environmental conservation. The YCM, where the signing took place, leads technological innovation and environmental initiatives through events like the 'Monaco Classic Week' and the 'Monaco Energy Boat Challenge.'
