RIKEN VIETNAM CO., LTD. Commences Full-Scale Operation of Solar Power Generation Facilities

RIKEN VIETNAM CO., LTD. (Head Office: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Representative Director and President: Kazuhiro Higashi), a consolidated subsidiary of RIKEN TECHNOS CO., LTD. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Kazuaki Tokiwa), has commenced full-scale operations of the solar power generation facilities installed on its factory buildings.

The RIKEN TECHNOS Group has established 'Contribution to a Sustainable Global Environment' as a key priority (materiality) and is strengthening its sustainability initiatives, including responses to climate change. As part of these efforts, the Group began full-scale operations of solar power generation facilities at its consolidated subsidiary in Thailand, RIKEN (THAILAND) CO., LTD., in January 2026. Furthermore, full-scale operations commenced at RIKEN VIETNAM in May 2026.

At RIKEN VIETNAM, approximately 900 rooftop solar panels have been installed, which are expected to cover about 12% of the factory's total electricity consumption and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 425 tons annually.

The RIKEN TECHNOS Group will continue to promote the use of renewable energy throughout the Group, advancing initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and realizing a sustainable society.
