Rita Marks (Location: Osaka Station Front 4th Building 8F, 1-11-4 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative: Yasuhiro Ohara) will launch a campaign to support the posting and production of recruitment short videos for companies recruiting for long-term internships and student part-time jobs on "Youlish," a recruitment platform utilizing AI and short videos.

Youlish is a recruitment platform launched on June 17, 2026.

The recruitment market continues to face labor shortages, and the period from July to October is prone to overlapping recruitment activities.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the effective job opening ratio in the recruitment market in April 2026 was 1.18, and the new job opening ratio was 2.11.

The Labour Force Survey by the Statistics Bureau of Japan showed that in April of the same year, the unemployment rate was 2.5%, and the number of employed persons was 68.6 million, an increase of 640,000 compared to the same month of the previous year.

Furthermore, Persol Research and Consulting estimates that a labor shortage of 6.44 million people will occur in 2030.

In the private job change market, the job change opening ratio for May 2026, announced by doda on June 18, 2026, was 2.44, an increase of 0.06 points from the previous month.

In a situation where "the number of job openings exceeds the number of job seekers, and recruitment competition is fierce," the period from July to October is when companies' recruitment activities tend to overlap.

Recruitment activities for part-time jobs for summer vacation, recruitment activities from autumn onwards, movements for new graduate recruitment aiming for official offers after October 1, and personnel preparations for the year-end sales season will proceed in parallel.

Making it easier to deliver long-term internship and student part-time job postings on Youlish, which has over 3,000 registered students.

As of June 25, 2026, according to our internal data, Youlish has over 3,000 student users, with hundreds of new student registrations daily.

In this campaign, companies that already have recruitment videos can start posting job openings by utilizing those videos.

For companies that do not have recruitment videos, we will support planning and editing from 20,000 yen as a launch campaign.

In the initial launch phase, the number of posted job openings is still limited, making it less likely for each job opening to be buried among student views, creating an environment where it is easier to deliver recruitment for long-term internships and student part-time jobs.

As the main user base is university students, companies can also use this as an opportunity to connect with students, such as through early internships, and leverage it for future new graduate recruitment.

Youlish delivers "personality" and "workplace atmosphere," which are difficult to discern from resumes and job descriptions, through videos before application.

For companies, it is difficult to see a candidate's personality, speaking style, values, and how they work solely from resumes and entry information.

On the other hand, for students, it is difficult to fully understand "who they will work with" and "what kind of atmosphere the workplace has" from job descriptions alone, leading to a lack of mutual understanding before applying.

Furthermore, even when recruitment videos are produced, they may be influenced by the algorithms of social media and video platforms, or require increased entertainment value to boost playback numbers, making it difficult for the company's atmosphere and the appeal of its employees to be fully conveyed.

Youlish allows companies to convey their workplace atmosphere and the appearance of their employees, which they want to communicate, along with job information, without relying on excessive entertainment elements.

By connecting recruitment videos to job postings, pre-application touchpoints, and video screening, we aim for a recruitment experience where companies and students can get to know each other's atmosphere and way of thinking before applying, and "meet as people."

Reduces post-application scheduling, also supports asynchronous video screening.

In recruitment activities, scheduling after application is also a major challenge.

When applications are received during times when recruiters are not readily available, such as at night or on holidays, communication and interview scheduling may be delayed, leading to the loss of desirable candidates.

With Youlish, when a job seeker applies, a dedicated URL is sent, allowing them to answer pre-set questions via video.

Job seekers can complete their answers at their convenience, and companies can decide whether to proceed to the next interview after reviewing the submitted videos.

This reduces the burden of scheduling required for the initial contact, while allowing confirmation of speaking style, personality, and thinking, which are difficult to discern from resumes and entry information alone. The submitted videos are designed to be viewable only by the applying company, ensuring privacy.

By connecting job postings, pre-application video touchpoints, and post-application asynchronous video screening, Youlish aims for a candidate experience (recruitment CX) where companies and job seekers can more naturally "meet as people."

Low cost, allowing for small-scale testing of candidate pool formation for students.

Typical recruitment activities involve multiple costs, including job advertisement placement fees, referral success fees, and recruitment video production costs. Especially during periods when recruitment activities tend to overlap, the burden on companies increases both in terms of cost and operation.

With Youlish, companies that already have recruitment videos can start posting job openings by utilizing them. Even if they don't have videos, we support the planning and editing of 30-second videos from 20,000 yen.

For companies recruiting for long-term internships and student part-time jobs, Youlish in its initial launch phase is a timely opportunity to deliver the workplace atmosphere to over 3,000 students via video.

We are accepting early postings as an option to try out video job postings on a small scale and create pre-application touchpoints.

Representative's Comment

Yasuhiro Ohara, Representative, Rita Marks

Recruitment videos are not just for making companies look good.

We believe they are a touchpoint for students to imagine themselves working with "these people" before applying. At Youlish, companies that already have videos can use them immediately, and companies that don't have videos can start small.

Now, in the early stages of our launch, it is a trial-friendly time for companies looking to recruit for long-term internships and student part-time jobs.
