On May 15, 2026, Vena Energy, a leading green solutions provider in the Asia-Pacific region, received a letter of appreciation from Mayor Yuichi Yamada of Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture, at a ceremony held at Shiroishi City Hall. The recognition follows Vena Energy's donation under the 'Corporate Hometown Tax' system.

Through this contribution, Vena Energy supports the advancement of Shiroishi City's 'Education Informatization Project' and the 'Development Support Project for the Opening of a Graduate University.' These initiatives aim to enrich education under the city’s vision of fulfilling hopes for pregnancy, childbirth, and child-rearing.

In January 2025, Vena Energy commenced commercial operations of the 'Amaterasu Shiroishi Solar Farm (162MW),' one of the largest solar power plants in Eastern Japan. Since that year, the company has begun donating to Shiroishi City to aid local recovery and environmental infrastructure.

The project for the graduate university aims to open the 'Earth Co-creation Graduate University (provisional name)' in fiscal 2028, utilizing a closed junior high school facility. The university is designed to support the dreams of young people, promote industrial development, and encourage inward migration. The donations will be utilized to improve the educational environment for the university.

Mayor Yuichi Yamada expressed his gratitude for the support and emphasized the city's commitment to sustainable urban development. Raul Rienda, Japan Representative for Vena Energy, stated the company's commitment to business operations that walk alongside the local community.

[About Amaterasu Shiroishi Solar Farm] The 162MW solar power plant supplies clean energy to approximately 35,000 households annually.
