The Hutan Group is recruiting participants for an eco-tour to Borneo from August 3 to 8, 2026. This tour offers a unique opportunity to experience Borneo's rainforests and palm oil plantations, engage with local communities through homestays, and learn about environmental conservation and sustainable development.

This eco-tour aims to foster thought about rapid economic development and forest conservation through experiencing the rainforests of Borneo, known as a biodiversity hotspot, and staying with a host family in a village located between these forests and oil palm plantations.

◆Recommended for those who: - Are interested in environmental issues, tropical forest loss, and palm oil problems. - Wish to experience the nature of Borneo firsthand and observe wild animals, plants, and insects. - Want to visit initiatives by Indonesian NGOs and participate in reforestation activities. - Desire to experience village life through a homestay and interact with villagers and children. - Want to understand problems from the local perspective and consider what they can do personally.

◆Tour Outline Dates: August 3 (Monday) - August 8 (Saturday), 2026 Application Deadline: June 24 (Wednesday), 2026 Participation Fee: 170,000 JPY (International flight costs, etc., are extra) Minimum number of participants: 9 people, Capacity: 15 people
