The General Incorporated Association "All Japan Student Amusement Federation (Abbreviation: Gakuyu Ren)" has begun accepting entries for the pachinko and pachislot tournament "PS:JAPAN2026," aimed at young people, primarily students.

About "PS:JAPAN2026"

"PS:JAPAN" is a national pachinko and pachislot tournament for students aged 18 to 24 attending universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, vocational schools, and colleges of technology nationwide. It will be held as a "team competition" with 2 to 5 members. Preliminary tournaments will take place at halls across the country and online, with the final tournament held in Hokkaido. The winning team will receive a scholarship of 1.11 million yen per member.

This year's tournament is scheduled to hold various preliminary tournaments from July to August, and the final tournament in Hokkaido in September. In addition to competing for the most balls using actual machines at venues nationwide, a new "Special Collaboration Preliminary" will be held online, allowing easy participation from anywhere via an app, making the tournament more accessible for a wider range of students.

Tournament Details

[Competition Content]

Three types of preliminary tournaments will be held, and players who advance from each preliminary will proceed to the final tournament.

National Block Preliminaries

This is a skill-based competition where participants aim for top scores within their respective blocks, dividing Japan into four regions (Hokkaido, Tohoku/Kanto/Chubu, Kinki/Chugoku/Shikoku, Kyushu/Okinawa). The competition uses actual pachinko and pachislot machines for a 1-hour ball count showdown.

Eastern and Western Major Preliminaries

These are skill-based competitions held at major venues in the east and west, where top performers at each venue will earn the right to advance to the finals. Similar to the National Block Preliminaries, rankings will be determined by ball count showdowns using actual pachinko and pachislot machines.

Special Collaboration Preliminary

This is an online preliminary competition in collaboration with the pachinko and pachislot app "SloPachi Spirit" (© CommSeed Corporation), where players can enjoy a real machine simulator. The right to advance to the finals will be granted based on performance within the app.

*This preliminary is a score-based competition using a free simulator app. In-app purchases, coin purchases, or paid item purchases are not required to participate. Furthermore, prize money, prizes, or redeemable points will not be awarded based on preliminary results, nor can in-app game results be exchanged for cash, prizes, or points.
