Gathered from Across the Nation! Sports Wellness Fukiya "World Masters Games 2027 Kansai Wakayama Prefecture" Open Competition to be Held on May 17th (Sun) at Wakayama Big Whale (Wakayama City)

The main competitions of the "World Masters Games" are for individuals aged 30 and above, but there are no age restrictions for the Sports Wellness Fukiya open competition.

This will be the first "World Masters Games" held in Japan. The Sports Wellness Fukiya tournament will be held as an open competition within this world-scale event.

534 participants will gather from across the nation, including 1 metropolis, 2 urban prefectures, and 22 other prefectures (Iwate, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Saitama, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Fukui, Nagano, Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi, Mie, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama, Okayama, Hiroshima, Tokushima, Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi).

[About Sports Wellness Fukiya]

Sports Wellness Fukiya is a sport born in Japan in 1998.

It is a sport where you use your breath to shoot arrows at a circular target 5m to 10m away.

When blowing the arrow, there are basic movements, and a characteristic of these movements is the Fukiya-style breathing method based on abdominal breathing.

- "Anyone" can enjoy it, regardless of gender or age.
