The Japan Association for Psoriatic Diseases (nickname: INSPIRE JAPAN, headquarters: Kanagawa Prefecture, hereinafter "the Association") has started selling an original campaign T-shirt to commemorate World Psoriasis Day, observed annually on October 29.
About World Psoriasis Day
World Psoriasis Day was established in 2004 by the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA), the global alliance of psoriasis patient organizations, as a day dedicated to psoriasis patients and their families worldwide. The World Health Assembly resolution also explicitly recognizes efforts to raise awareness of psoriasis through this day.* The Association began its activities in 2017, following the launch of an awareness event at Tokyo Tower, and has since produced and sold campaign T-shirts annually in conjunction with World Psoriasis Day.
* Resolution "Psoriasis" (WHA67.9), adopted at the 67th World Health Assembly on May 24, 2014. The resolution acknowledges awareness-raising activities conducted by stakeholders in many countries every year on October 29 to increase understanding of psoriasis as a disease.
