The Japan Management Association (JMA, Chairman: Masami Nakamura) will exhibit its JMA booth at the 18th HR EXPO [Spring], part of the 25th Tokyo [Spring] General Affairs, Human Resources, and Accounting Week, held at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo) from June 17 (Wed) to 19 (Fri), 2026 (Booth No.: E5-52 / East Hall 1).
As JMA has provided total support for human resource development for companies for many years through the provision of educational content, the booth will feature exhibits and experiences to help visitors understand the latest approaches to corporate talent development, focusing on 'fostering self-driven talent.'
This time, we will focus on 'Art Thinking,' which is essential for future talent development, as it approaches 'behavioral change' and 'shift in thinking' that were difficult to reach through conventional training.
In addition, at the booth, we will provide guidance and accept consultations on concrete measures for employees to continue growing on their own, such as 'cross-industry exchanges,' career development support measures, and comprehensive 'hierarchical and thematic training systems' covering everyone from new employees to management.
Introducing 'Fostering Self-Driven Talent' as the Key to Corporate Growth
The socio-economic environment surrounding companies is changing rapidly. To respond to these changes, the HR and education departments are required to go beyond traditional frameworks.
With 'human capital' becoming the keyword of the era, the position of employees has changed from being mere 'resources' to be managed to 'capital' that drives corporate growth through utilization and investment. Especially in a rapidly changing environment, it is essential to cultivate 'self-driven talent' who can identify issues, make judgments, act, and achieve results without waiting for instructions.
It is no exaggeration to say that talent development strategies that allow each employee to flexibly adapt to changes and continue to grow are indispensable for corporate growth and survival. The booth will introduce 'fostering self-driven talent,' which is the key to corporate growth, and accept consultations.
'Art Thinking': Rethinking the Essence of Things and Generating Questions Yourself
'Art Thinking' is a way of thinking that re-examines the essence of things without being bound by precedent and 'generates questions yourself.' Unlike logical thinking, which 'efficiently guides to a correct answer,' Art Thinking generates 'questions that no one has raised yet.' It is positioned as an approach that brings new perspectives to organizations by re-examining the essence of things without being bound by existing frameworks or precedents. It updates the very 'thinking OS' required in an era with no correct answers and fosters talent that becomes the starting point of innovation. We plan to conduct mini-workshops at the booth where you can experience Art Thinking.
