The Japan Management Association (JMA, Chairman: Masami Nakamura) will hold the "Plant Show 2026," a specialized exhibition aimed at revitalizing the chemical, petroleum, and energy-related business sectors, for three days from July 15 (Wed) to 17 (Fri), 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight East Hall 2.

The number of exhibitors is expected to be 109 companies and 208 booths (as of July 3), with an anticipated 36,000 visitors (including concurrently held exhibitions).

In recent years, this industry has faced complex societal issues and challenges such as labor shortages, rising raw material costs, technology succession, and the need to respond to GX (Green Transformation) and CE (Circular Economy). This exhibition will bring together the latest products and services to help solve these problems and disseminate information towards finding solutions.

The exhibition comprises the "36th Plant Show," "5th Explosion-Proof and Disaster Prevention Risk Countermeasures Exhibition," "13th Water Innovation," "16th Environmental and Energy Countermeasures Exhibition," and "1st Plant DX/AI Solution Exhibition."

This exhibition covers the plant lifecycle from design to operation. It will showcase a wide range of exhibits, from the equipment and facilities that constitute plants, to safety measures for manufacturing processes, environmental measures surrounding manufacturing processes, and DX technologies aimed at improving efficiency and reducing labor.

Furthermore, the lecture sessions will provide information useful for tomorrow's work, including policies from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of the Environment, as well as the latest initiatives from related companies.

Highlights of Plant Show 2026 (Excerpts)

CK Pipe Shaver mini

Exhibitor: CK Metal

Plant Show / Booth Number: 2-C24

CK Pipe Shaver mini is the world's first dedicated machine that fully automates the plating and scale removal of small-diameter fittings. It automatically processes the inner and outer surfaces, eliminating variations in quality due to manual work. Processing time is a rapid 10-20 seconds per port, contributing to reduced risk of welding defects and suppression of zinc fume generation.
